The floor is finally finished and the furniture put back. I couldn't decide on what accent color to use, and finally decided on blue. I will probably change it at least three times before I am satisfied, but it's blue for now. Simon and Zach came over late last night and Simon got to test out the new floor.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the blue/brown combination along with the new floors. It really looks great. It makes me want to do my floors now. Sounds like we just might! Thanks for letting Zach and Simon hang out so late last night. Simon didn't want to sleep and I need to work. He is walking a bit better this morning so I don't think his foot is broken.
I agree with Kelly.... I love the new room! It makes me wonder why we stuck with dirty carpet for so long! At least now when your floor gets dirty you can just wipe it right up. Dad and you have done such a great job.
The room looks like it's from a whole new house! I love it so much! Great move on the blue and brown combo. The specialist on HGTV would be proud of what you and Dad have done.

What a great look! Could you come help me at my house. I love it. I think that rug looks great. I can't wait to see it in person. I can't think of a better way to test out the floor than to let Simon start crawling on it. I think you are really going to enjoy the hard wood.
