LOOK WHAT I FOUND ....

I was cleaning out some of the boxes Paul had retrieved from the storage room and found these bottles of cologne I bought for him when we were dating in 1968. I had purchased them at WOODWARD & LOTHROP Department Store in Washington DC where my mother worked at the time. They are called NINE FLAGS. They came in a white container with nine bottles inside... a different cologne representing nine different counties. I could only find seven bottles. I researched them on E-BAY and found that each bottle is selling anywhere from $100.00 to $350.00 per/bottle depending on how full they are. Paul's are completely full. HOW COOL IS THAT?

SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW....

I took this photo in my back yard the other evening following a THUNDERSTORM. It was so beautiful outside. It has been raining alot and everything is so "green".
It reminds me of home (virginia). A beautiful rainbow came out and I thought of my mother and my brother...

somewhere over the rainbow.

MY "BLOGGING BUDDY"

CASH has to be wherever I am. He is like my own private watch dog, only he's my little sphynx cat. I love animals...

MY NEW SEWING ROOM

With everyone living with me now, extra room to sit up a sewing machine to make my aprons was proving a little difficult. So... Paul being the wonderful husband that he always has been ..... cleaned out the food storage room (aka junk room) and he sheet rocked it and put some new carpet down and made me my own private sewing room. He put up a holder for my buttons, a sewing table, a table to cut fabric on, three ribbon holders, an ironing table, storage holders (all finds from storage units and given to me by Aaron & Ryan.) Thanks to Ryan, Aaron, and especially Paul for making things so nice for me.

"Mommy, Please don't make me ride TOWER OF TERROR"

DISNEYLAND... at last...

Here some of us are waiting for the gates to open so we can begin the FUN... The kids were so excited... espeically me! I did feel bad that AAron and Paul couldn't come. Even Zach, Kelly and their kids joined us on day three. Ofcourse the biggest surprise was LuLu coming from Arizona to join us.

Meeting LuLu in California

Wow..it has been 'FOREVER' since I last blogged. I "almost" gave it up, until I looked at my sweet daughter Melissa's blog and decided I enjoyed seeing and hearing about her through the blog, so I am going to be better at this. I have been SO BUSY....what with work and all. However, some of the family took a weeks vacation and went to Disneyland. Melissa surprised us.. TOTALLY SURPISED US.. and joined us for three of the six days. We had so much fun getting to spend this vacation with her. Here she is at the beach with Evelyn.

THE HAPPIEST TURKEY ON EATH

NO JOKE! Every year at Thanksgiving time, the President of the United States pardons one TURKEY from becoming someone's Thanksgiving dinner. That turkey is flown on AIRFORCE ONE to the Happiest Place on Earth..(Disneyland) where he will live a Happy Life. Lucky Turkey.
