SUNDAY BREAKFAST at DEL TACO....

Just like everyday, my daughters and I spend as much time as we can together. This Sunday morning we headed off to Del Taco for Breakfast. We seem to have fun no matter what we do. Today, we noticed that there were alot of Seagulls in the parking lot of Del Taco. After breakfast, we gathered our left over food (which was alot) and drove the Lexus to the middle of the parking lot, amongst the Seagulls. We had Audrey, Adrienne, Heather, myself, Ayana, Evelyn, Lydia and Zeke in the car. Audrey placed an egg and cheese burito on the glass sunroof and we sat quietly and waited.

Summer Memories...a happier time!

This past summer, Aaron, Heather and myself flew to Arizona to spend some time with Melissa before she started Mortuary Science School. We had such a fantastic time! LuLu suggested that we go tubing down the Salt River. I was a little hesitant, but didn't want to be a bad sport, so I said yes. I loved it! I cannot wait to go again next summer. Thanks to LuLu for suggesting it. The weekend was a blast. Oh, by the way, we were actually tubing on the river for four hours. LuLu was the only one that got caught thrown from her tube when we got caught in a little rapid.

MY FIRST FAMILY....

My wonderful sister Linda has been so diligent in researching our family tree. She recently made a trip to Pennsylvania (where I was born) and located this photo from a relative. I am sitting on my mother's lap and standing behind us is my brother Bobby, my sister Paula and my oldest sister Linda. I absolutely LOVE this photo. Thanks Linda.

UNUSUAL PUMPKIN

Realizing that I might affend and hurt some people, I decided to change this post. I apologize if I hurt anyone's feelings as it was entirely unintentional if I did. Anyway, I just think this little pumpkin is so unusual than most. The farmer told me that they have to purchase a "different" kind of seed to get this pumpkin with the unusal bumps on it... so HALLOWEENISH...isn't it?

FEELING GUILTY...OR WHAT?

The tree stump has come in pretty handy for Halloween Decorating. Here is what happened. I placed a pumpkin on the tree stump for Halloween last Monday. The following morning, I found the pumpkin smashed on the road in front of the next door neighbors house. I thought... oh well, kids and Halloween...SMASHING PUMPKINS! I didn't worry because it was just a little pumpkin and didn't cost me very much, so I decided NOT TO REPLACE IT and learn my lesson. Well, yesterday morning I go out to go to downtown with Aaron and there on the Tree Stump is this VERY LARGE and INTERESTING PUMPKIN...much nicer than the one I had. I also noticed that the neighbors next door had several similar pumkins in their yard. Don't know if they felt guilty or was just being nice. They have some teenage boys... Either way, I like it better and appreciate someone's good deed. THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEEN...You gotta love it.!!!!

A BIRTHDAY HUG FROM MIKAYLA...

I can't believe how close the nieces and nephews have gotten with AAron over the past several months. Today Mikayla came to my house right after school, while we were preparing Aaron's dinner, and she and Ayana made Birthday Cards for him.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE AARON....

Today was Aaron's Birthday. I had decided instead of going out to a restaurant with the family, it might be nice if we had a casual dinner at home with his family and some of his favorite food dishes that he enjoys. We had spinach Audrey's homemade Spinach Artichoke Dip (nobody makes it like she does). Aaron also loves Audrey's mini Rueben Sandwiches. We had his Aaron's favorite marinated meatballs, and bacon wrapped water chestnuts. And for desert, Adrienne made Aaron his favorite "AUNT COLLEN'S DESERT", which is SO YUMMY. I had prepared a few more of his favorites, and I was so impressed with how appreciative Aaron was of the time and effort we had put into his Birthday Party. After dinner, Aaron did the dishes. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SON, WE LOVE YOU...(SO SORRY CONNOR THAT I CUT YOUR HEAD OFF IN THIS PHOTO..DARN IT!)

TREASURE HUNT BEGINS WITH DINNER AND A BIG FAMILY

We had our annual Family Halloween Treasure Hunt this past Friday night. It was really special this year because Trynity got to come to it. Here is a photo of the placecards for the Halloween Dinner consisting of Homemade Chili for the adults and macoroni and cheese for the youngsters...

Grandchildren Ready for the Treasure Hunt....

Every year I have a Halloween Treasure Hunt for my grandchildren, but if the truth were known, I think I enjoy it more than they do. The only thing missing was Melissa wasn't able to be here. Maybe next year!

DON'T BE SAD LITTLE GIRL......Only 26 Days Until Halloween!

WHO'S BEHIND THAT FALSE FACE?

The purchase of another ED HARDY hat and ofcourse a new mask. Aaron loves Halloween also.

CHECK IT OUT!

Heather loves Ed Hardy clothing, and today as we were out and about Heather saw this ED HARDY cap. The jewels on it are genuine SWORSKI CRYSTALS. Anyway, she really wanted it, so Aaron was with us and he purchased it for her. As I said last night on my "flower" post, Aaron has such a big heart. He would give you his last dollar to see you smile. Heather was thrilled. She is going to work on his web site to help pay him back for the hat. She looks so cute in it.

FLOWERS FROM MY SON...

Today Aaron surprised me by showing up at my work with this beautiful bouquet of flowers and a card that made me cry. My fellow co-workers came running when they heard me "ooowing and ahhing" over the flowers. Thanks Chris for the good photo. Thank you to my son Aaron for being so thoughtful. I love and appreciate how hard you are working and what a great person you are. You have such a big heart with so much love to offer. I love the flowers and the card.

MIKAYLA'S FIRST HAUNTED HOUSE

Tonite we loaded Ayana, Mikayla, Evelyn and Lydia in the car and headed to the 'HOUSE OF TERROR.'

Mikayla was the only one of the group who would agree to go inside. I have to admit I tempted her with money and prizes, but she did it. Audrey and her headed toward the door. I truly didn't think she would go inside. But she did!

Congratulations Mikayla on your first HAUNTED HOUSE ADVENTURE..
