I WEAR MY SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT.....

ED HARDY sunglasses to be exact! I wonder what goes on in the mind behind these sunglasses, after all he has been through.

NINE YEARS HAVE PASSED....IN MEMORY OF CASEY DUGDALE& CHRISTOPHER OSEGUERA

Nine years have passed since that horrible day when Paul and I got a telephone call from the University of Utah Hospital at 6:00 am informing us that our son Aaron was involved in a car accident and was in critical condition. They told us to get up there as soon as possible. When I inquired about his condition, they said that they couldn't give us any further information, but to drive safely. When the phone rang at 6:00 am in the morning, I realized that Aaron hadn't come in around midnight to tell me he was home. He always came into my room to wake me up to say "I'm home mom, Ilove you." Aaron was 19 years old. When we arrived at the hospital, we met a police
Detective on the elevator and he informed us that Casey and Chris had both died in the accident. Aaron was in a coma and was not expected to live. They asked Paul and I to sign papers to donate his eyes and organs. We phoned our Bishop. I remember when I first saw him, it didn't even look like him. Melissa was dating Casey Dugdale at the time. Many of you know the story, and how hard this struggle has been for Aaron and our family. We have had many struggles regarding this senseless crime for the past nine years. Aaron's life was forever changed. He keeps everything inside...I haven't reminded him of the date today...I hope he doesn't look at the calender.

Aaron's Struggle Begins...9 years in the Making

One week after the accident, the doctors tell us Aaron will survive, but will more than likely have to have several fingers amputated on the one hand and will try to save his arm. Well, the wonderful doctors at the Trauma Center at the University of Utah, took his arm and repaired it after numerous operations. It still doesn't work like it should, but at least he was able to keep it. Alot to handle for a 19 year old., but nothing like LOOSING CASEY AND CHRIS.

A Tired Little Girl...

This is how Aaron ate his dinner.
When Trynity was here, we took her to dinner for Aunt Heather's B-day. She fell asleep on her Daddy before her meal was delivered.

A TRIP TO RED MANGO...

The other day, Heather and I took the boys to one of Melissa's favorite places... RED MANGO! We gave little Kingston a taste of the frozen yogurt. This was his response!

It has been a very long time since one of my children have made me a "homemade Valentine." Last Saturday my sweet daughter Audrey surprised me with this Valentine she had made for me. I immediately placed it on the fridge, just like I did when she was little. Thank you Audrey, I LOVE IT!
