HARLEY EATS HEALTHIER THAN I DO!

Have you ever heard that saying...it came to me today... as I was preparing HARLEY'S
breakfast of fresh grapes, bananas, apples, corn, celery, red peppers, brocolli and peas. It goes something like this... "SHE'S SO SKINNY BECAUSE SHE EATS LIKE A BIRD."
This came to mind as he was enjoying his breakfast while I prepared my fattening breakfast of toast, egg, bacon and diet coke. HARLEY is now 14 months old and according to the training books on AFRICAN GREY PARROTS, he (who is really a she)should start talking in about 4 months. However, HARLEY already knows several phrases... like ... "PET MY HEAD"... "HELLO HARLEY BIRD"... "STEP UP"... meows when you ask him "what does the kitty say"... He says 'WHO ...WHO.." when you say...
"without your wig you look like an owl" (from the Adam Sandler movie..8crazy nights)
He says HELLO when the phone rings (including cell phone)...and his favorite is
"BIPPY BOO...BIPPY BOO"... He is so much fun. He love for me to give him kisses and pet his head...He bites everyone but me...Thanks to LuLu for helping get HARLEY...

NO NEED TO POUT....NANA'S NOT MAD! ...

BUT MIKAYLA MIGHT BE! Well, life has definitely been busy around my house lately. Having little ones around all day has been an adjustment. I think I am doing pretty good, but you would have to ask my two daughters that have moved in with their little ones. I am sure I drive them crazy about keeping things picked up. Anyway, the other day I heard Zeke in the bathroom and thought I had better go and check on him. This is what I found. He told me he was giving Mikayla's Barbie a bath. I am just SO GLAD THAT HE DIDN'T FLUSH!
NOTE: MY HOUSE CAME WITH A GREEN TOILET, SINK, AND TUB...I was going to have it changed, but I grew to like it...It's so ME!

A FULL HOUSE....

I haven't posted for some time as I have been really busy with work and Paul and I now have A FULL HOUSE again. Heather and her three children moved in, along with Audrey and her little Mikayla. Everyone has pitched in to try to make this adjustment good for all of us. Tonight after dinner, Heather and I cleaned the dishes and placed the garbage bag out for Paul to take to the outside can. Before Paul could get to it Kingston went exploring. We are busy here at Nana's and Papa's house. Thanks to Heather, Audrey and Aaron for helping to make this transition easier and pleasant for all. I am thankful that I had the room to help.
