Last night around midnight, I heard some noise on the back porch. I figured it was either "outdoor kitty" or "bank owned kitty" looking for food. So, I got out of bed and flicked on the porch light and found not only one skunk eating from the food bowl..but TWO...! I quickly yelled for Paul to come and look (because I think they are so beautiful) and he wasn't quite as thrilled as I was. Infact, he was pretty disgusted by the whole thing. It is hard to get a clear photo through the glass, but if you look closely, you can see two tails..

Holy Crap! That is so cool! I love the fact that you are feeding skunks. I am so excited for you! Call me next time they are there because I would really like to see them! Tell Dad to relax and eat some fruit or something! (What movie is that a line in?)
Oh my, I bet dad was not happy about that. Evie misses you so much. She cried in the car today saying that she missed her Nana.
I'd probably be like Paul. I don't know if I'd be excited to have skunks in my yard. They're pretty cool to see up close though!
How fun for you?! Glad to see that you are sweet to them. Most people wouldn't be so kind to feed the animals. What's one more to your farm over there on Coral Dr.?
I think I would have to agree with Paul on this one. I do like most animals out there but skunks..... not so much :) I think it is cute that you feed them anyway!
Oh no! I think I side with Paul and I can't even smell the little buggers. What if they spray the cats or worse one of the kids? I agree it is kind of cool, but will they go away or just keep getting bigger in your yard?
Next time you need to call me so that I can come down to your house and check them out. If you keep it up you might start to get a whole group of them showing up for food.
