TOO PRETTY TO EAT...UMMM!

My sisters and I visited a yummy pastry shop today, with beautiful, yummy looking cakes and pastries. We decided on a Mango Cheesecake, with rich chocolate accents. The shop lady wanted to know if we wanted something written on the cake..and we decided on this. How fitting! I am having a great time visiting my sisters. Wish my mom were still alive...

CELEBRATING BEING TOGETHER AGAIN..

Tonight we ate dinner at the Casablanca Restaurant in downtown Alexandria, Va. We had such a fun time.

BEING PAMPERED BY MY SISTER..

EVER SINCE I WAS LITTLE, my sister Linda loved to spoil me, and it hasn't changed in all of my 57 years on this earth. I made one simple statment yesterday, which was "My feet hurt so bad by the end of the day that I can hardly walk"... THAT SIMPLE STATMENT was all I had to make and we were off to a very unique place. It was called 'FOOT SOLUTIONS'... THE PLACE is run by four or five podiatrists. They first examine your feet (oh no) and then they ask what problems you are having, any pain, etc. Next, they massage your feet (how embarrasing), then they do a computer analysis of your feet. This was followed by a set of orthodics and the picking of a pair of shoes. I chose some tennis shoes and I must say I was a little skeptic..HOWEVER, they are SO COMFORTABLE....By the time we walked out of there my sis was set back a sizable sum, but my feet feel GREAT! Thanks Linda...

BREAKING THE LAW at BOB'S PLACE....

This morning we headed back to Bob's place (May He Rest in Peace)for Breakfast. It was so good yesterday morning that I wanted to go back. If you know AAron's sense of Humor, you will understand him wanting to have his photo taken underneath this sign...'BREAKING THE LAW'

DON'T LOOK AYANA....

Well, the reason why Ayana didn't want to come to Virginia is because of the summer thunderstorms that frequent the area. Well, this evening we had a thunderstorm. I took this photo of Aunt Linda's front yard when the storm began. After the storm was over, we ventured out for dinner and a couple of blocks from the house we found this car that was affected by the storm. Don't worry Ayana, we are all fine. We miss you!

BREAKFAST AT BOB'S

It's Saturday morning here in Virginia.
It is such fun being "HOME" again. Memories are everywhere....
This morning we drove to the airport to pick up my sister Paula. (OH..GOOD NEWS...Aaron's luggage has arrived)After picking up Paula and Aaron's lost luggage we had a great breakfast at BOB EVANS RESTAURANT. The food was so excellent that I asked the waitress if I could meet Bob and let him know how great our Breakfast was. SAD NEWS.. Bob has passed. May he rest in peace!

ON OUR WAY TO VIRGINIA

We got on the airplane early this morning headed for Virginia. We flew "first class".. ! Let me tell you that was the way to go! I am actually here now, however Linda didn't want to have her photo taken until tomorrow. We ate at RED LOBSTER for dinner and had a fantastic meal. After dinner we went to WALLMART where Aunt Linda purchased a little bike for Zeke for when he arrives tomorrow. Oh by the way... THE AIRLINES HAS LOST AARON'S LUGGAGE...
